    When to go

The Drive — Scenic & Simple

From Marbella, join the A-7 east towards Málaga. Stay on the coastal highway most of the way. If you prefer a calmer ride, choose the AP-7 toll road for part of the journey.

    • Picasso Museum — Málaga is Picasso's birthplace; the museum is full of early works.
    • Muelle Uno & Port — modern harbour area with restaurants, shops and sea breeze.
    • La Malagueta Beach — grab grilled sardines (espetos) at a beach bar.
